There's No I in Team!

Friends do a fantastic job of sharing our new Magna tile train set. This was an excellent way to practice patience and cooperation :)

Karsyn makes a Jack-o-lantern during morning free choice. She says, "This is for you Miss Christina, it's a teacher pumpkin!" Thanks, Karsyn!

Jack and Quinn do a great job working together during a rousing game of Match. Jacob looks on and helps.

Kallen writes a list of invites for his "Work Party" during quiet choices. Nice writing, Kallen!

F is for Fun, Focus and Friends!

Today's sound circle showed us that the letter F starts the words fish, frog, flower,
flashlight, fruit, fork, fire truck, fox and flamingo! Great job, everyone!

Jack wins for creativity! He brought his flu shot to our sound circle today. Good one!

Charlotte and Makenna work on making Jack-o-lanterns during free choice.

F is for focused...we were super focused during morning free choice. We enjoyed building in the block area, playing with the babies in dramatic play, using the dinosaurs in small groups and snuggling up with buddies and reading.

We loved exploring the spooky Halloween Tumble Bus today! Ask your child what his/her favorite part was.

We enjoyed an extra long recess outside today. We are loving these crisp, fall days :)

The Letter F!

Today during morning free choice, we explored marble painting with warm colors such as pink, red, yellow and orange. F is for Fire! Friends had a blast tracking the marbles and predicting how far and how quickly/slowly to tip their trays to make the paint tracks.

Today's Alphatales story..."Fifi Ferret's Flute!"

We came up with another great brainstorm for our letter of the week. I look forward to this week's letter F sound circle :)

Friday Shenanigans!

E is for Easter Egg shakers! We had a blast making these noisy little numbers today during free choice. Thanks for the idea, Beth Knox :)

Wes practices his kindergarten writing skills during free choice. Check out the alphabet AND all those E!

Miss Katie and friends play "Count your chickens" during morning free choice. It took a lot of cooperation and patience to play with such a large group, but everyone did a great job!

Eva shares a wonderful shared snack with us...blueberry muffins and watermelon! It was quite a treat to have her Mom, Amber, and two brothers join us. Thanks for the awesome visit!

During quiet choices, Jacob reads an ocean book. He is particularly interested in learning more about the angler fish and the light it uses to attract its prey.

The three musketeers enjoy a book on tape during quiet choices.

E is for Egg toss!  Great idea, boys :)
