The Letter E!

During morning meeting, we read our Aplphatales story The Enormous Elephant Show.

E can be tricky, but we came up with a great word list!

Check it out!

Before rest time, we read the book Earth at read aloud. These budding scientists had some great questions, theories and observations about the Earth..."How does the Earth spin?" "How do we stick to the ground if the Earth is round?" "How was the Earth made?" and "I think the Earth was made from rocks hitting each other." were just a few. Wow! Using the globe, we tackled these big ideas together. We will definitely continue with our Earth study this week. Inquiring minds want to know!

E is for elephant! Friends pretend to be flat as pancakes while we play "Willaby Wallaby Woo" (an elephant sat on you) during morning meeting.

Yikes! All of our friends have turned into animals! Jacob sets up a morning meeting at the "animal school" during free choice. Friends notice right away and come join in on his creative plan.

Jack, Mason and Leah work together to "pile the beads to the ceiling" during morning free choice. Great teamwork!
