Tis the Season!

Yesterday, our little elves made some delicious brownie bites. What a festive little treat!

What a special day we shared today! Holiday shows and The Polar Express during rest time. We also enjoyed popcorn, candy canes, hot cocoa and sugar cookies. You're only young once, right?!?!?!

Happy holidays to you and yours! See you in 2016!

L is for Lollipops!

L is for Lollipops! Keep an eye out for our awesome lollipop creations in the classroom!

Friends work to stack and count Tangrams during morning free choice.  I think Mason counted all the way to 32!

Twinsies! Happy birthday, Lily!

Eva plays Santa as she delivers donations for the classroom! Thank you so much to all who have donated items to our classroom...we couldn't do this job without your support!

Charlotte, Wes, Jack and Kallen set up a trap for unsuspecting friends during recess. Better watch out!

Salt Dough Ornaments!

Nolan and Aatreyu...little explorers searching for adventure.

The salt dough ornaments that we made today are baking and drying as we speak. They are awesome! We can't wait to share them with you all :)

Friends work together in a small group to play Animal Bingo. It takes a lot of cooperation and patience to play an organized game like this. All great skills to practice for kindergarten!

Hey ladies, whatcha got there? A horse of course!

Letter L Sound Circle

L is for Lion! Nice job making that connection, Quinn!

Karsyn finds a lamb during morning snack and says, "Hey! Lamb starts with L!"

Lots of lovely items in our L sound circle today. Especially Leah and Laura...friends just love when their letter pops up :) Ask your child which items he/she remembers from our sound circle this morning!

Marshmallows Anyone?

After creating that awesome bonfire with friends yesterday, Jack has the idea of roasting marshmallows. He brings in a bag of marshmallows to share during morning recess. Thanks for the thoughtful treat, Jack!

Hooray for marshmallows! And for creative friends :)

Charlotte draws an elf during morning quiet choices. Look at all those details! Nice work, Charlotte.

Wes and Quinn create a rainbow castle from our wooden puzzle set.

***Dont forget that tomorrow is our letter L sound circle!

The Letter L!

During morning meeting, we read Lulu Loves to Laugh from our Aplhatales book.

Then we come up with a Loooooong List of L words :) Great job, friends!

Um...where'd Charlotte go?

Friends work together to build an awesome bonfire during morning recess. Kallen comes up with a bunch of creative ways to "start" the fire, the most obvious being with cave rocks and fireworks of course.

Speaking of fireworks... Leah and Makenna put on a fireworks show for the bonfire patrons :)
